24/7 Emergency Support
Henderson Equine is happy to offer emergency coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We understand that emergencies are stressful for all involved. We pride ourselves on prompt, thorough, and compassionate care at all times. Whether you are looking for a phone or photo/video consultation to determine how to proceed with caring for your horse during a urgent health concern, or you are looking for an in-person farm visit, we are here for you.
Emergency coverage is generally restricted to a 45-minute driving radius from our clinic in Avon, NY, and priority is given to routine Henderson Equine clients. However, we will gladly service non-routine clients or non-area clients in emergency situations for an additional fee, at our discretion. If possible, you may also trailer your horse to our clinic for emergency care (but always remember to call first).
Remember, one of our goals is to prevent as many emergencies as possible. Our medical philosophy stresses preventative medicine. We recommend yearly physicals, vaccinations, and regular fecal evaluation and deworming for all your animals.
